Timber replanting requirement
SunShutters prefers an as natural possible product and look. We offer only natural products. The basswood we use has a regular woodstructure, which does not splinters and ensures the best result. Because of the replanting requirement, Sunshutters’s production is not harmful for the environment. In the woodworking of basswood SunShutters will ensure that the natural character of the wood for shutters is preserved.
Basswood, no MDF
Many shutter suppliers sell MDF. MDF stands for Medium-Density Fibreboard, which means compressed pieces of wood stuck together with adhesive. MDF is much cheaper than massive wood and of lesser quality. compressed wood has a different look than the more expensive wood from one piece. SunShutters supplies because of aesthetic, weight and quality no shutters of MDF but only basswood.
